The ESP team is now complete and hard at work for the upcoming 2020 edition.
As Jérôme Nunes stepped down after 7 years in the role, Olga Lamontanara joins European Short Pitch to serve as Head of Coproduction Forum. We would like to thank Jérôme for his efforts in consolidating the initiative, along with former Head of Script Department Wim Vanacker!
After a degree in Arts & Cultural Management at Bocconi University, Milan, and work experiences in Brazil and at New York’s BAM performing arts centre, Olga Lamontanara served as Director’s Assistant and Head of Special Projects at creative writing and storytelling school Scuola Holden in Turin.
In 2008, she was part of the team that launched TorinoFilmLab, where she worked first as Project Manager, then as Head of Communication until 2018; there she also curated tailor-made workshops for high-profile partners, including Next Step of La Semaine de la Critique (Cannes), Open Doors of the Locarno Film Festival, and BrLab (Brazil).
In her career she has managed cultural events and festivals of various nature and size. Since 2019, Olga has embarked on a new journey as a producer and is developing projects in collaboration with various production companies in Switzerland, where she is based with her family. She also runs industry events, workshops & trainings, as well as being active in film promotion.
Olga Lamontanara will work closely with Nisi Masa’s Head of Script Department and ESP’s Project Manager Julie Marnay to further strengthen the program and enhance its networking and coproduction potential, facilitating the encounter between the industry and exciting new European talents.
