Coproduction Forum 2022|23

9-10 & 13-15 February 2023 / Rennes (France) and Online

The Coproduction Forum is an international pitching and networking event aimed at promoting the short film projects, works in progress and talents taking part in the annual edition of European Short Pitch.

The line-up of the 2022|23 edition, held in partnership with the Travelling Film Festival, includes 12 projects in development - mentored by ESP’s tutors & consultants during our annual development workshop, as well as 4 works in progress - also benefiting from tailor-made editing and distributing consulting.

In November 2022, the respective creative teams behind the selected projects in development got to work at the Development Workshop. The first WIP project was subsequently confirmed in December, selected in partnership with Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and will be accompanied by three additional European projects in post-production.

The Book of Projects for the 2022|23 edition will shortly be available to download. Watch this space…

INTRODUCTION TO GREEN PRODUCTION

Speakers: Giovanni Pompili, Producer (Kino Produzioni) and Head of Studies (Green Film Lab); Georg Zeller, Green Film Consultant

Green production involves the introduction of different practices during the pre-production and shooting of a film, which we are all curious to learn more about. But could we also look back and implement these mechanisms during the development of a project, and while we're at it, as green production seems to be gaining traction in the feature film industry, could short film adopt these processes to lay the groundwork for a healthy future industry? Through a discussion with the producer Giovanni Pompili and the green film consultant Georg Zeller our session will make a first foray into these topics.

Wednesday, 15 February
13:00 - 14:00

TRAINING & NETWORKING IN THE FEATURE FILM INDUSTRY: EXAMPLES OF EUROPEAN INITIATIVES
